And when one sins excessively, Tahajjud becomes difficult for him.
He can wake up around 4AM but find it difficult to pray. I've experienced this at a point in my life Sübhanallah.
The great Imam Süfyan Ath Thawri once said:
Tahajjud is by invitation only. You cannot get up for tahajjud unless Allah has invited you.

There are some little details I look at and just know that this can only be done by people of Imān.
E.g Aisha (RA) for example. The Sahaba would call her Umm Al Mu'mineen, the Prophet (pbuh) would be speaking about Aisha in the front...
