Heading into COVID, I was let go without severance, denied unemployment, and stuck starting over once again. I always thought I was too late and old to start streaming, but hitting 20k followers and over 3k subs playing Halo on twitch has got me feeling some type of way.

Went into the HCS qualifiers yesterday thinking we would get absolutely stomped with me as a sub. I haven’t played competitive in over a decade, but somehow we finished top 12, and if we even had one day of practice I think we might have finished top 4 🤣….

People are better nowadays and you damn well better be. 30 FPS and at times with way more input delay, before modern aiming controls, before voice comms and at times without headphones, no streaming, no preferential treatment and for a couple hundred $, you whiners couldn’t hang.

I just found out my old high school has an esports team. when I went there, they blocked every video game website and wouldn’t allow us to miss school days to attend events. I racked up unexcused absences, failed tests and detentions. I want my money back.

Game 1 against Navi starts out. A player on Navi puts his hands in the air calling for the ref due. Since it was the first 30 seconds, we are assuming a restart. Navi gets the call to continue playing and cap 2 flags until we see the ref signal for us to keep playing….unreal.
