On Easter Sunday, I accompanied my 96-year-old father on a journey to visit the homes we lived in when we first arrived to America: a 1-bedroom apartment in Jamaica, Queens, a 2-bedroom apartment in the building next door, and the first house my parents ever owned on Long Island.

It was a nostalgic trip that I am so grateful to still have been able to share with my father at his 96 years of age, and only wish my mother could’ve been there with us to see how far we have come in realizing our American dream.

I participated in the opening ceremony (delayed by COVID) of the Chinese American Museum in Washington, D.C. right near the White House. This museum will honor the contributions of our community, build bridges of understanding, and celebrate our country's diversity.
Inflation has risen 7.5%, the highest in a long time. Hopefully we are progressing toward the other end of the pandemic and see a relief in the supply chain crisis to keep up with high consumer demand.

Autonomous trucking can help address the strain on global supply chain issues we’re facing today. Economic recovery is hampered as goods wait to be moved, partly due to a truck driver shortage that’s only predicted to worsen over time.
Justice O’Connor swore me in as U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation and as U.S. Secretary of Labor. She encouraged and inspired millions of people, especially young women, such as myself. May she rest in peace.
