@thieme @ai_for_success @bindureddy I would say it's not just in theory. The full version of o1 is better than Sonnet at solving difficult math problems amongst other things from what I know. You are right about the tool use point though.

@thieme @HarmonyHacker @ai_for_success @bindureddy Well o3-mini is specifically designed for certain difficult coding and science related tasks. It isn’t supposed to use tools from what I understand. I could be wrong.

@NBAinthezone LeBron needs a larger sample size. He only took eight shoot attempts vs Kobe. If LeBron vs Kobe with no help defense it’s a different story.

@LUKA5899 @fut27498839 @JeremyNicolls lol. Delusional take. Gafford wouldn’t be the best player in the world if he took 21 shots per game.

@LUKA5899 @BoiIksi34190 @JeremyNicolls No he wouldn’t. Luka has always had a suspect jumper from distance. Kyrie should have made Luka even more efficient, which would have given him higher advanced analytics. Furthermore, Jokic has Murray and MPJ.

@RecruitBoss @TheDunkCentral @swishcultures_ Trust me there is tough defense. There are just a lot more 3s.

@Bjorkbat @StephenLCasper Idk. If AI can solve unsolved problems in math, I don’t think it will be that difficult to take certain jobs.

@StephenLCasper @eggsyntax Well, nobody claimed that o3 specifically is world-changing. It is just an improvement.

@StephenLCasper @__nmca__ Benchmarks are still important tho. Furthermore, I don’t think OpenAI has been dishonest about o1’s capabilities. Altman did say that o1 was very limited, but still a significant step forward, which it is.
