AIDS with a cd4 of 7, known cryptosporidiosis including on biopsy, persistent GI loses, bicarb 9, k+ 3, normal anion gap. Fix gi losses and done right? Nope had a case of a concomitant rta as the urine gap was 30 possibly 2/2 triumeq (not confirmed). Never assume anything 😎

Back with a new post finally. very solid study. Main question I have was the baseline renal function at time of enrollment. Would be very helpful to see if we can use such doses with varying levels of ckd. But possible game changer!!
