Had an incredible day learning about the history of the Jews of India by touring the historic synagogues of Mumbai! I got a tour from Indian Jewish history expert, Yael Jhirat, and I highly recommend. The designs of the synagogues were absolutely breathtaking.

I got the chance to eat Litti Chokka at a "Didi Ki Rasoi" today in Patna. The Didis welcomed me into their kitchen and taught me a variety of traditional Bihari dishes in this incredible program that provides them autonomy and financial stability.

Today I ate Chura Matar in Bihar India with the farmers who grew the rice and peas in this snack. Surender Prasad Rai and Sheela Rai are rice and wheat farmers who welcomed me into their home and cooked me this delicious ghee fried puffed rice and peas snack.
