Thank you so much to everyone for the kind words about one of the hardest @rtenews bulletins I have ever presented. Keelin was a great journalist and an even better person. My heart is with her family and close friends in these difficult days.

Charlie introduced himself to me on my first day in RTÉ (as if he needed any introduction!). He was always happy to help new, younger journalists. Before his illness, I loved seeing him on his walks with Tiger on the Murrough in Wicklow. RIP, Charlie. You were an inspiration!.

My 91 year old father had a cold so was referred for a Covid test. Naturally very worrying. Thank God he’s negative. We had the result within 24 hours. Huge thank you to all the people working on testing around the clock over Christmas and New Year. You are doing an amazing job!.
