Some of the linguistic translations from German were intentionally distorted, such as "Ausrotten/Ausrottung" being made to mean 'exterminate' when in German it has multiple meanings all revolving around simply removing something. However, the Einsatzgruppen actions were real - but they had a reason and purpose.
