I would just take this as a lesson that your opponent can definitely say no to you plugging in, and to be prepared for that outcome, it doesn’t happen often but when it does you just need to make sure you have a contingency for this(buy a speaker)

fgc is more welcoming, more open arms with sharing knowledge among their peers, information is easily digestible, they don't gate keep things for the sake of winning a 30 dollar tournament, so they will probably be able to climb faster when the community promotes growth
Crazy on how FGC players constantly dog on smash for not being a fighting game. Yet it always feels like smash players are better at normal fighting games than vice Versa 🤔
