Yesterday was the Great Welsh Edwardsville Bake off final! 3/4D have enjoyed every second especially eating their delicious welsh cakes after the judges had been around. Bendigedig!
Year 3/4 were lucky to have a visit from Kevin Clissold, parent of Lacey in 5/6F, who has climbed Mount Everest! Did you know there is an Edwardsville Primary flag at Everest Base Camp? We learnt about the trek, the equipment needed and asked lots of fantastic questions! Diolch!
We would like to thank Active Merthyr Tydfil for the £500 grant money to help support our After School Football club. They've had new equipment and kit!

They enjoyed exploring the zoo and were lucky enough to see the birds of prey show with a special question and answer session.

Reception had a wonderful time at Iolo's 5th birthday party. We sang 'Happy birthday'and helped him blow out his candles. We had jelly and cake and we played pass the parcel to help Iolo open all his lovely birthday presents!!

The children have learned all about the zones and habitats on a mountain. They researched and created fact files. They then created habitats in shoe boxes! They have had the best day! Well done 3/4D You have done a fantastic job!
