As a kid who got a Big Ten Scholarship and multiple D1 Offers after being named the Ohio POY, I never played AAU. I just worked on my game every morning at 6 a.m. and played open gym with the big kids everyday at the local ymca. When the smoke clears its about work ethic!

Horizon League announced postseason honors today and incredibly, Bart Lundy did not win coach of the year. Also, BJ Freeman was not named first team all-league (second team).
Ahmad Rand was named the defensive player of the year, however, and Elijah Jamison named all-freshman.

Layla Houpe is arguably the top post prospect. Certainly a top 3 without a doubt. Tall, good footwork, and exceptional shooter. Layla played up all season on an impressive legends team, and is slowly getting use to using her body to dominate the paint! Player to watch.
