The AP reports a federal judge on Wednesday cleared the way for President Donald Trump ’s plan to downsize the federal workforce with a deferred resignation program. AP also reported that Trump upended 3 years of US policy in a one hour phone call he had with Vladimir Putin about ending the Russia-Ukraine war. They spoke about the US and Russia cooperation in the overthrow of Hitler. The Russians came to our aid and threw 1 million men and women of the Red army into the battle for East Germany and Berlin. Their talk came the day after the release of Marc Vogel from 4 years captivity in a Russian prison. The release was noted for it was unconditional. Russia made no demands to swap prisoners.

But Mr. Trump said on Monday that the assistance could be in jeopardy.

Our “woke,” soft, DEI influenced US military has currently 41 active-duty four-star officers (another list says 44) in the uniformed services of the United States: 11 in the Army, three in the Marine Corps, nine in the Navy, 14 in the Air Force, three in the Space Force, one in the Coast Guard. During WW II there were nine 5-star officers, Generals and Admirals. These men were 4-Stars for most of the war, being promoted to the temporary 5_star rank in 1944. Eisenhower’s ground commanders Bradley and Patton, who commanded Armies, wore 3-Stars. These WW II flag officers commanded 16.5 million men and women. Today’s military numbers about 2.3 million, active duty, reserve and national guard. In the photo look at the ribbon racks on these guys. And where are the women?
