Last year, I made a post about Gen-Z and how a common perception paints them as aloof, entitled, and hard to please. The conversation that followed was eye-opening—some agreed, others challenged the stereotype, and many shared insights on what truly drives this generation. Now, we take the discussion further! Do Gen-Z consumers really have market-moving power, or are they just overhyped? I’ll be joining a panel on @mx24gh TV, hosted by @InnovaDDBGhana Ghana, to break it all down: 📅 4th February | 5PM 🔁 Repeat: 9th February | 8PM From marketing strategies to consumer behavior, we’ll explore how brands can win (or lose) with Gen-Z. Don’t miss this! 📺🔥

During my MBA in Marketing at UGBS, my coursemates and I had a practical tourism assignment from Prof. Kobby Mensah (@thePOE_T ) . Early in the morning, we set off from Accra to explore the Shai Forest Reserve, Atimpoku, Adomi Bridge, Akosombo Dam, Peninsula, and the Expedition en route to the Peninsula. I chose this course because of my experience engaging with hotels as a marketer. I vividly remember us calling Prof. when we encountered a slight challenge while capturing content. He had to personally speak to the authorities to grant us access, affirming that we were his students. This was all part of #DestinationLegon, the annual tourism fair at the University of Ghana. Prof. Kobby is truly multi-talented. Our assignment focused on leveraging AI in tourism, which further highlights his deep involvement in the tech space while successfully managing businesses. It was no surprise when I saw his recent appointment, and I have no doubt that he will excel in his new role. Well done Prof. #Pumpup 👏 Read more
