He began explaining the book on 4/23/1434 and finished it on 6/14/1444 (tonight).

It’s important to note here that Islamically, midnight isn’t to be understood traditionally as we know it (12 a.m). Rather, midnight is calculated by taking the time between Magrib & Fajr.
Ex.
Fajr:4:57
Magrib:5:03
Midnight:11:01
Sh. 'Uthaymīn رحمه الله said:
"The strongest statement is that which is after midnight is not the time for 'Eshā. Therefore, if the woman becomes pure from the menses after midnight she's not obligated to make up the 'Eshā prayer because she became pure after the time expired."

Indeed the fasting person has a Dua that isn’t rejected. Supplicate your lord for all good; this life &next. Also, Jummah has a dua in its last hour accepted & it’s Ramadan! So, the answering of dua is more likely due to 3: Fasting, Ramadan, & last hour.
أيُّها الصَّائمون .. إنَّ للصَّائم دعوةً لا تُردُّ حتَّى يُفطر؛ فادعوا ربَّكم بكلِّ ما تحبُّون من خير الدُّنيا والآخرة.
