@PictonPedro Have asked this question for a seriously long time, but often been met with the classic “but we don’t pass him the ball enough” bullshit. I don’t know what he offers, but all the managers have weirdly backed him and started him when possible (Pauno, Ince, Selles & Hunt).

Fantastic point away from home, especially against a top six rival 🙌 Five of our next six games are against teams currently 15th or below in the table and four of those fixtures are at home. Time to kick on. Keep the faith. UP THE DING 💙 #readingfc

Every Reading fan knew how special Michael Olise was when he first broke through ✨ #readingfc
Every Palace fan knew how special Michael Olise was from the moment he arrived. A truly elite talent in every sense.

@nedeye @james_e1871 Nobody thinks otherwise. But… We’re currently 8th (tied with 6th). We’ve kept the vast majority of our squad together, keeping the play off dream alive. If we finish top 6 and get promoted, that’ll save the club. Facts. Support the team, not the regime. Back this squad.

@TH161_ @james_e1871 In my opinion it is very hard to be negative about the window itself - forget the order situation the club finds itself in. I came into January expecting to lose a few of Knibbs, Smith, Bindon, Mbengue, Wing, Garcia, Savage and Perreria. To lose just Smith is a massive relief.

@Orrgarde Don’t disagree. It’s utterly depressing. But it’s what makes the next three months all so important. Let’s back the squad, let’s get them over the line and let’s finish 6th. It’ll be very hard, but play offs and possible promotion could (probably would)save this football club.

@TH161_ @james_e1871 We’ve only lost one player? Bindon is staying, who was out of contract this summer anyway - so would’ve have left no matter what. So we’ve got important money in the building AND kept our star player. We expected 5+ sales this window. But we sold one, signed one and kept one.

@nedeye @james_e1871 You’ve nailed it yourself there. We are not a well run club, that’s the difference. We can’t magically change the situation we’re in. It’s dire. But we’re here, live in the now, now the past. We could’ve lost 5+ players easily this window - but we didn’t.

@CScott____ Naively assuming we’re all done. Should be enough money in to keep us ticking over.

@PictonPedro It’s brilliant business. Nobody expected any incomings just a few days ago. It’s risk free, being a short loan. Vital experience to a very young squad, specifically our attack force. In desperate need for more numbers up top and outwide, so his versatility will be a huge bonus.

After what will be a tough away game at Huddersfield, we’ve then got some very favourable fixtures, with four of the next six at home… 👀 H -Shrewsbury (23rd) H -Rotherham (15th) H -Birmingham (1st) A -Wigan (16th) H -Exeter (17th) A -Crawley (22nd) Believe 🙏 #readingfc

As bad as everything is off the field and how bad some performances of late have been, you can never doubt the dedication, the passion and the energy that this young squad are giving for us, the fans 💙 #readingfc

@RoyalPainUTD This season, Mamadi Camara averages: 🏃♂️Fewest dribbles per game (0.1) ❌ Fewsest crosses or game (0.1) 🥅 Only 4 players average fewer shots per game (Dean, Rushesha, Garcia, Abrefa) 👟 Ranked 11th out of 19 for key passes per game (0.5) He doesn’t offer anywhere near enough.

@Readingfanman Losing my patience with us just sticking with 4-3-3, no matter who’s fit or available. Try a back five, especially away from home, just once. PLEASE.
