EcoAction Arlington’s Advocacy Committee identifies priority issues and organizes campaigns to educate residents on pressing environmental threats. Save the date for their upcoming webinar, Getting to Zero Carbon Buildings, on February 15th at 7 pm ET.

In 2023, EcoAction Arlington’s Energy Masters worked with 66 families to reduce their energy and water consumption, resulting in lower utility bills. If you’d like to learn more about becoming an Energy Master, learn more here:

Trees are the living heart of Arlington County and this year we planted 397 trees and 99 shrubs. Applications for our spring 2024 Tree Planting Program are now available. Apply by midnight January 5, 2024 here:

APS encourages students to head out into the world to learn about the opportunities that abound. EcoAction Arlington supports the Senior Experience. Creating opportunities for seniors to provide environmental education to younger students is a key element of the program.

It’s Day 2 of our 12 Days Of EcoAction Arlington. EcoAction Arlington led stream clean-ups with many volunteers to remove 227 trash bags from streams and waterways in 2023. Small changes matter. Learn more here:
