EF&R with assistance from @BvueFD responded to a residential structure fire on the 8200 blk of East Mercer Way. No occupants were home at the time of the fire. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and avoid spread to nearby homes.

It’s not always cats in trees- this poor guy found himself behind a water heater. Thanks to our crew on Engine 173 and the maintenance professional at the Timbers in Issaquah, this kitty was able to get out safely.

EF&R is working with Snoqualmie Pass Fire District 51 and KCSAR to rescue a fallen climber on Guye Peak. Due to the location of the fall, Guardian 2 has been called in to assist. Patient is conscious and communicating with rescue teams.

Our crews arrived around 7 pm last night and were immediately directed to help evacuate 7,000 residents from the approaching #PalisadesFire. Nearly 36 hours on the road, the team hit the ground and went to work. #lafires #wafirefighters
