Today we marked the

by planting a tree for the Queen's Green Canopy (

). Student representatives were given the great honour of helping to plant our tree and their names will be placed on a plaque to commemorate the occasion!

Ski trip update: all students and staff are up and out on the snow. We are so impressed with everyone doing the right thing. Beautiful clear day and plenty of smiles.

Ski trip update: a fantastic first day of skiing in beautiful weather. Everyone has made progress and we have been impressed with how positive, supportive and kind everyone has been to each other.

Cantabria update: We had to change our plans today. The cable car to Los Picos is currently not working so we could not to the mountains. Instead, we went on a board trip, then shopping in Santander followed by bowling. Looking to Tapas tonight.
Whilst the Library has been closed, we have been working on a revamp! We are super excited for students to take advantage of our 'cosy nook' for a quick read when we are able to reopen! Don't forget, students can still access e-books and audio books via the Library catalogue! 📚

Ski trip update: both coaches have arrived safely in Dover and have just boarded the ferry. Staff and students have been brilliant. We are so proud of their patience, resilience and kindness through the delays.
Look what we found in the archives - the original EBS House Cup from 1938! It is now in the process of being cleaned up and we will put it on display in the coming weeks with some other bits and pieces we found!
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

Our 1930s and 40s day is in full swing in the Kitchen; students are loving toad in the hole and our stodge dessert! We are also streaming some 30s and 40s music to build the atmosphere. Thank you to our amazing Kitchen staff!
