@AbuFoulaan @5Pillarsuk To be a UK citizen it's the same process. You swear an oath or affirm your allegiance and then pledge to uphold the country's values. Legally, an affirmation is recognised as being non-religious. Don't have a personal opinion. Just food for thought.

@mujishahjee @5Pillarsuk I believe since 2002 every new citizen attends mandatory citizenship ceremonies to swear an oath/affirm and pledge your allegiance to the country. Also legally, an affirmation is recognised as being non-religious. Don't have a personal opinion on this but these are the facts.
