@DSzajnuk I was writing mine before Bakery had finished posting. I get you think bad blood rivalries or having a villain org can help the LTA. That can be dangerous for orgs if they're branded villains. You get more haters than fans that way and haters don't buy merch.

@Cubbyxx If DIG didn't delete and apologize, they would have to lean into being villains as a brand. I get the impression based on the statement from DIG's GM apologizing for it, they don't want to go that route. I guess they're hoping this will be forgotten by next split.

@Bwipo Teams who get knocked out before playoffs in Split 1 need to consider using streamed scrims as a way to stay in the public eye during the break for playoffs / First Stand. 5 weeks of being out of spotlight hurts brand building with fans. Can still fit a break in that window.

@boombastitis @jessesingal If that was the actual reason, he wouldn't have said "common sense" when explaining why he blamed DEI. He would have said that he has that info. Therefore, he either doesn't have those details or has those details and realizes they don't line up with what he wants to blame.
