Where oh where are the real Libertarians (on the Left - or - Center)? Not many folks in America realise that Libertarianism was originally a left of center ideology - because in America it got hijacked by the 'corporate' tea-bag, de-regulation/tyranny version of 'libertarian' which is 180 degrees opposite to the real - 'people-centered' libertarianism of old (which included our 'shared' environment), because tea bag libertarianism is the tyranny of the Board of Directors, with no regulation standing in the way of them doing whatever shitty things they want to do (i.e. a Lawless society where all the Laws restrict the People & none restrict the corporations, oligarchs and polluters). Left Libertarianism protects "We the People" FROM both corporate and government over-reach.

They are stupid. They think first past the post elections make it a 'democracy'. Works fine when there are 2 equally matched parties you need 50%+1 to win. When there are 5 equally matched main parties you need 20%+1 to 'win' - the bar gets lower, the more parties there are. So we'll always get a 'minority government' whatever we vote for.

RT @EarlJBH: @lesliem_f @implausibleblog I have no idea what a "cooker libertarian" might be.🤷‍♂️ But I did qualify my reply. Libertarianis…

Yeah - conspiracy - that's exactly what you're pushing - read your own comments and tell me how that's not a "conspiracy" you're suggesting? As if a bunch of evil Bond villains get up each day and conspire against poor powerless you. All these conspiracy circuses are designed to make you feel completely powerless. And you buy it - hook line and stinker.

@Angelasouth17 @ABridgen Sigh - really bored of your nonsense. Sulphur dioxide causes warming when it reaches the stratosphere. Like water vapour causes cooling when it reaches the stratosphere. But at ground level it's the opposite efect (but not on a 1:1 ratio)

@Angelasouth17 @ABridgen weather is not 'climate' - totally different scale. Your conspiracy is built on misunderstanding and misinformation. Straw man argumants don't make you right.

@Angelasouth17 @ABridgen I know about it already - so what? It's not the 'proof' you think it is.

Jeez. Where's your evidence that volcanic activity reduced? "Over the past 60 years, there is no substantial evidence indicating a significant increase or decrease in global volcanic activity. The Smithsonian Institution's Global Volcanism Program, which has been documenting eruptions since 1968, reports that the apparent rise in recorded eruptions over time is primarily due to improved monitoring and reporting techniques, rather than an actual surge in volcanic events. On average, there are about 63 volcanic eruptions per year, with annual counts ranging from 46 to 85 eruptions since 1950. This variability falls within expected natural fluctuations." You realise it takes 'energy' to make ANY type of electricity generating technology? Wind turbines repay their energy input within 3 years... and 95% of wind turbines CAN be recycled (and already are being). The 5% that isn't recycled now is being 'engineered-out' of newer turbines. How many nuke power stations and oil rigs have been 'recycled'?

Give it a rest. I've literally seen it all as far as the chemtrail cult nonsense goes. It's all bunk, based on morsels of fact, but totally misrepresenting scale and reality (just like climate change denial - in fact I think they're funded by the same corporate interests). If you want to de-programme from the chemtrail cult - this is a good place to start.👇 When you get to the 100th thing they lied about, you might snap out of it.

Sigh... volcanoes do that - yes - naturally. So do fluro carbons and other manmade gasses - unnaturally - which only adds to the natural effects and makes those 'turbo-charged'. Yes I remember - and we did something about it, so the ozone layer is recovering. Nothing to do with 'money-making' scams. There was also 'acid rain' - that was caused by the sulphur dioxide coming from coal burning - so we put sulphur 'scrubbers' in coal chimneys & addressed that problem. Of course it didn't address all the acidification caused by fossils, because co2 combines with H2o to make carbonic acid (which is causing acidification of the oceans). We can address that too now.
