For all the HS football coaches that encourage kids to skip wrestling to "get bigger for football". How about going pushing them to wrestle to get tougher and learn crazy work ethic.

Tons of administrators around the country looking for a reason to shut down sports (esp wrestling). You have to value what means more, getting chances to compete or proving other peoples opinions to be stupid. Most of the actual athletes/coaches are grateful do it and move on.
Wrestlers wearing masks on the ACC podium when they all just wrestled each other is all time stupid.

I'm sure anyone that competed in college will disagree with the notion that they should wrestle 80 matches a year.
Even half that number for a Senior Circuit wrestler is a ton of matches for one year. Where is a senior wrestler going to find that much competition? There’s not exactly dual meets and open tournaments just popping up everywhere.

One of the best things I noticed this weekend was the lengths that our wrestlers go to to interact with fans particularly kids. Win or lose these guys were signing, posing for pics, giving away gear etc. We generally have a desire to be like mainstream sports....

Of the eight Men's FS World Champions from 2018...Only one repeated (Petriashvili)....Snyder was the only other that made the finals....Two (Alijev, Chamizo) didn't medal....That tournament is really freaking hard.
