Our coalition is organized under @ssdpofficial . This demonstrates one of the many ways SSDP is training the current and future generation of policy reformers. We aim to demonstrate DOI&DOC do not necessitate placement in Schedule 1 of the CSA. They are research tools.
The coalition is back in action! We officially have a DEA Hearing in Arlington on 6/10 to fight the scheduling of DOI/DOC. Pre-trial virtual hearing is 5/3. That being said… we’d love your written testimonies! Please message myself or @EPhisCowboy if interested! #psychedelic

The Federal Analogs Act already allows law enforcement to charge people distributing, manufacturing, etc the analogs like if they were to do so with fentanyl. HALT will make it substantially more difficult for scientists to conduct research& impose barriers.

@CannaSzn @vaxynuf @tomangell I met Judge Mulrooney at the DOI/DOC proceedings in November (he didn't preside over our case), and I got the impression he was kind, respectable, and fair. I believe he is really on a fact-finding mission with the MJ Hearings. 2/2

@CannaSzn @vaxynuf @tomangell DEA like other Executive Branch agencies have their own judges called Administrative Law Judges to rule over formal rulemaking procedures, like this, or when the EPA establishes new environmental regulations, or FTC writes a rule 2 establish 1 click to cancel subscriptions. 1/2

@jayistoday2024 @tomangell He does not have authority to remove DEA and there is no where near sufficient grounds to even do so. Scolding appears reasonable. I interacted with Judge Mulrooney as well and echo Jacks sentiment.
