Our IP team held their quarterly journal club last week. Topics discussed included EDAR in advanced PD, impact of cervical spinal disease on pharyngeal swallowing, dysphagia in neurodegenerative disease, communication and swallowing in FND, and transient post-ictal dysphagia #EBP

We heard from Siobhan and Dorothy in our stroke team about SSNAP, moving from a rating of D in 2010 to an A at present. We now have a 7-day SLT service on ASU, an EIT in CRST, and 8 SLTs compared to 3 in 2016 in the stroke team 👏
