@Jbanklestankle1 A friend of mine made a dogshit an' jelly sandwich for our lunch thief. The thief got scolded by HR when they went to them to "press charges", then a few months later ate fancy shaving soap, same results, finally canned on non-theft incident.

@PMAP1776 @Brushbeater @DolioJ I once had a guy I worked with tell me if SHTF he was coming t my place to "take my guns". I told him to say that to himself over& over. Oh, the look on his face when he "got it". This was a guy I had helped many times over the years, with moving, etc.

@Earstohearyou Those cuts are entirely plausible. I've used Misery Whip, still have one. They would sharpen them to high degree & wax them. There were only 2 ways to fell a tree, and these guys were professionals. As far as clothing, remember "gettin' yer picture took" was still a Big Deal then.

@zillaah707 I worked with a guy from there, he said it's all "Red" except the cities, which dominate elections. I discussed it with my wife, as we have family there, and the weather's almost always nice. It would be a No-Brainer except my wife is patriotic for our home state of Michigan.

@nelmagene2010 Oh, yes! My oldest brother had a '70 SuperBee that he bought brand-new, took it directly home and built. First car I ever rode in that was quick as well as fast. A judge ordered him sell it & join the military after a high-speed run across the U.P. He had no idea they were after.
