El Paso is home. This is where I grew up. This is where I met my wife. This is where my kids were born. I canât tell you how many Saturdays weâve gone to that mall, how many times weâve gone into a Walmart for the weekâs groceries. Today rocked me to my core.

In our Regional Semifinal run last year we traveled 1100 miles in a 3 week span. This is an every year challenge. I think he can maybe figure out a way to get his program prepared for a state title next time⊠đ€·đœ.

We did it the right way, protecting our kids and families as much as we could all while playing during a pandemic. Score didnât show what we wanted today, but as a program, school, and a district we did right by kids and managed a gold ball out of this season.
I couldnât be more of his leadership and the playersâ maturity. They played football during a pandemic. He had the responsibly to keep his players safe, their families safe, and ours as well. It was never just about football for him. He cared about his players well-being.
