Grateful to @cornellilr, @gracabi, @Yiran_Zhang_ for organizing and hosting the first annual Worklaw Junior Scholars Workshop. I can't imagine a better way to move through this hard moment than to gather with thoughtful and dedicated scholars in a beautiful place. Thank you!

I'm grateful to my workplace, @SetonHallLaw, for having COVID+flu vaccination stations at the law school campus on multiple dates over the coming two weeks. I already booked my session and encouraged my students to do. You should too! Be well. 💉💪✌️

Another incredibly important piece from @gracabi
New paper draft! DEI: Son of Deference - where I describe civil rights' governance on the job as a product of judicial deference and suggest seeing the new attacks on deference & DEI as an opportunity to rethink civil rights authorities in the workplace. DM / comment for a copy

A gigantic loss and such a gift to have her in the world as long as she was.
Extremely sad news: Jane McAlevey <@rsgexp>, the organizer, writer, and human dynamo, died this morning. I knew her for over 20 years and loved and admired her.

@MrSethHarris @emilymspatz @PowerAtWorkBlog This is great. I am in the midst of a research project, comparing the state-based commissions' decisions on mandatory bargaining subjects to see if those (really powerful but mostly ignored) bodies treat police units differently from others in developing their common law.

This is fantastic! Check out my paper, Wage Recovery Funds, for the nitty gritty of this and more ideas on how to make this kind of fund enhance worker power.
.@SanDiegoCounty Office of Labor Standards is piloting a new restitution fund to help workers who've experienced #WageTheft. This & other innovations in San Diego show the vital role local gov't can play in standing up for workers. @LocalProgress (1/3)
