Today we visited @Edgbaston to attend the careers in sport conference. A great opportunity for exam PE students to network with universities, sporting companies and listen to some motivational speakers. Our students were impeccable, and also came away with some freebies!

Well done to Sienna & Loren for their amazing efforts in the Rotary Young Environmentalist Competition. They have worked extremely hard focusing on carbon reduction for their project. We wish them the best of luck as they represent EDA in the district finals 🌍👏

In response to the tragic situation in a Sheffield school this week, we commissioned Danny from StreetWhyse to deliver an assembly about the risks and implications of knife crime and negative youth culture. Danny provided an insightful and thoughtful provoking address #weareEDA

Our PE curriculum isn't your traditional curriculum. It's a concept curriculum that teaches fundamental movement skills and how to apply them in a range of sporting contexts. The students love it #weareEDA

This initiative is new. It is fantastic to see those Year 12s who have been through their GCSE journey supporting those Year 11s about to go through their GCSE journey #weareEDA
They keep excelling themselves! Sixth Form academic mentoring for our Year 11 students, supporting them towards their GCSEs in specific subjects. Another example of our superstars taking an opportunity, and making a difference! Incredibly proud of them! @EDarwinAcademy

Brilliant opportunity for our Technology superstars #weareEDA
Getting an insight into the world of F1 🏎️ Students have had learnt about what design & engineering goes into an F1 car, they’ve been able to go down onto the blustery heritage track and finally take in the history of Silverstone in the musuem! Thanks Miss Thompson for organising
