@kibuchi_mw9619 Mwangi, in bribery cases, the focus is not the amount of bribes paid! It is the consequences that arise when bribes are demanded or paid. In some cases, even a bribe of Kes100 can cause death.

EACC AND KICD JOIN FORCES TO EMBED ETHICS IN KENYA'S EDUCATION CURRICULUM EACC CEO Abdi A. Mohamud has held a strategic meeting with the Director/CEO of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), Prof. Charles Ochieng' Ong'ondo, to explore innovative strategies for embedding ethics and integrity into Kenyaโ€™s education curriculum. The initiative is part of the Commissionโ€™s broader commitment to combat corruption and unethical conduct by targeting the formative years of youth development, recognizing that the early instillation of values profoundly shapes character. Held at the KICD offices on Tuesday, the meeting underscored the critical importance of value-based education as a formidable tool against corruption and moral decay in society. The two leaders emphasized that by integrating ethics and integrity into the curriculum, Kenya can empower its youth with the essential knowledge and values necessary for ethical living, which would enable them to navigate contemporary challenges and resist the temptations of corruption. The CEOs committed to enhancing collaboration between EACC and KICD in pursuit of comprehensive value-based education, which inspires students to uphold integrity. The two agencies will explore various initiatives, including conducting studies on the state ethics education in schools, curriculum review, and the development of integrity materials tailored for different learning stages.

Kenyan professionals, especially Lawyers, Accountants and Engineers, are at the heart of theft of public resources in the country. Those involved in this illicit venture should, instead, use their expertise to serve public good.

Graft and Family Ties State officials are increasingly enrolling family members, including spouses and children, as conduits for theft of public funds. This trend is starkly illustrated by the ongoing multi-million civil and criminal graft cases involving 9 nine former Governors currently before Court. #TuangamizeUfisadiTuijengeKenya
