The picture shows my pregnant mother, sister & me in March 1993 after we were deported from #Srebrenica by UN trucks. Our father Rifet stayed in Srebrenica. November 1993, my brother Enis was born in Tuzla, he had never seen his father in his life, & we never saw him again. ⬇️

When the mothers of #Srebrenica were transported by buses & trucks in July 1995, the Serbs army stopped those buses next to the captured men & boys. Many mothers saw their children there for the last time. The soldiers told the mothers that their sons would be killed.

#Srebrenica is a symbol of the suffering of the Bosniak people, a symbol of genocide and sorrow, but also a symbol victory and the fight for justice. I am afraid that even we ourselves have not understood the importance of Srebrenica on a local, regional and global level.

@Sorrow993 U Srebrneici je crkva nije srušena, a 23. džamije su sravnjene sa zemljom. Čak su ostaci džamija sakriveni, mezarja skolenjena. Ima toga još. Vjerski službenici treba da mirnim i zakonskim putem djeluju a ne suprotno.
