I was so desperate to find love, never thought I’d be “normal”, and couldn’t see how my life would be enough.
Being gay in your 20s is so hard. I wanted a bf so bad, had giant crushes on guys that didn’t reciprocate, worked my ass off, never had any money, compared myself to everyone else, wanted to settle down, live the heteronormative dream, and it was always elusive. It hurt so bad.
