This year, had a recruit say he can’t make our showcase we were offering athletic scholarships at cause he had prom that day……. I told him GOOD. They only get so much time to be kids and I see way too many people put the weight of the world on there shoulders far too early smh

Only 7% of high school hoopers make it to ANY level of college hoops! 7%! Don’t waste your time comparing your journey to someone else’s…worrying about this players offer or that players offer….asking why they made it when….focus on becoming part of that 7%! Focus on YOUR

Our staff had a great time watching potential future Bobcats at Hillsborough’s all star game. Guys played hard in a all star game when they didn’t need to and that’s something you love to see.

So what are YOU doing to capitalize on the other 39 minutes of the game to put the team in a spot to not even be in that place. I just don’t get the fans/coaches/players who only love to focus on the final minute of a games calls and don’t talk about everything that lead to that

man, we do that for warmups at the college level. I can't begin to count the number of times I've seen guys lose the ball or travel because they don't jump stop and put the ball in their chest.......

It’s every state and the education system as a whole. We still don’t have it down here in FL either, our state association said 3 years ago “it’ll be required in 2024” and then the season was about to start and the ADs struck it down.

100% coaching comes down to one word: preparation. Players need to be prepared for what you’re concepts and philosophies dictate, if it’s not within the toolbox that you’ve given them don’t be surprised when they can’t execute it the first time at game speed.

Most of the time if you have to draw up a play in the huddle hs kids won’t be able to run the play and execute it unless it very simple and basic….if you don’t run it in practice, don’t expect your players to execute it in a game 🤷♂️

games should be refereed at all levels with the sole focus on one word; consistency. If you want to let them play, let them play. If you call the game tight, then keep the game called tight.
