My problem w/ this thread is that it's conflating a bunch of different things. Being harsh to Rey in fics, meta focusing on Ben, appreciating Ben more in the films, & preferring Adam's career over Daisy's aren't all products of internalized misogyny & it's unfair to generalize.
my biggest take on the reylo fandom (from being here for four+ years) is that most of them are more focused on ben than they are on rey. during the height of reylo tumblr almost every shitpost/meta/gifset was focused on ben, his deserved redemption, his tragic past, etc. 1/?

The show will do what it wants of course, but the idea that the stab wound from Morgoth's crown gives Galadriel her "dark side form" is something I'd rather not see. It feels too Grey Jedi and the idea that you need to have light and dark power to truly defeat darkness.
