As I see if, if you are going to tell me you're playing a Lawful Good Barbarian, then, the Alignment Chart, is the guide by which I would use to see if you abide to that, this might affect if you can wield, touch, use, items that are "good aligned" etc. As far as most players go, even Magic-Users, like Bards, Wizards, and the like, Alignment does not affect them anymore or less then it would affect a barbarian Overall, I see it as a profile tool, to help players build their characters profile, but this only really applies to role players, the roll players are for the most part, just murder hobo - loot whores anyway, and Alignment has no meaning to them, they might as well write in "Will do whatever for payment"

There is an age old saying: If you cannot explain something to a child, you do not understand it So it makes sense that if she cannot explain to a "child" what her job is and why it is important, then she doesn't fully understand her job, or why it is important. I find this very fitting
