A 34-year-old man was arrested by #VPD today after he brought a makeshift weapon into a fast food restaurant near Robson and Richards. Officers responded to a 9-1-1- call around 9 a.m., after the suspect was seen behaving erratically and allegedly assaulted another customer. Police arrested the suspect, who also had an outstanding warrant from Winnipeg. He is currently in custody and facing criminal charges. Nobody was injured during the incident.
