At the Massachusetts Teachers Association last meeting, the board voted to urge President Biden to stop funding Israel’s “genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza.”
To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I am appalled at this action taken by the MTA.
To my wife, Kate, thank you for your constant support, especially over the past five months. I owe this all to you. I look forward to sharing more information with you in the coming days as I look forward to continuing to represent Central Massachusetts in Boston.

Now it’s time to finish the mission we began in June.
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving—this is a blessed opportunity to give thanks for all we have in our lives. I am truly thankful to have the privilege of representing amazing communities of the Worcester & Hampshire District.
From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
I intend to file my Right-to-Shelter amendment to protect your tax dollars. Our state cannot economically sustain to continue throwing your tax dollars at a problem that has no solution in sight. 1/3
I will continue to stand with Israel and the Jewish community unequivocally, against the atrocities committed by Hamas and against the rise of anti semitism in our country and world.
It’s time to fight to make our voices heard—all of our voices—and end one party rule on Beacon Hill. A vote for Peter Durant is a vote for a better state government—we need two healthy teams on the political field. On November 7, I ask for your vote.
All 22 communities in the Worcester Hampshire District will have increased infrastructure funding coming in. The Healey-Driscoll Administration today announced that it is delivering a total of $100 million to the state’s 351 cities and towns to support local infrastructure.
Using one time funding to address the migrant crisis is not the solution. That is a dangerous precedent to set for our state’s economy. Even using those funds, the state is going to run short. Then what do we after that?
This race is our opportunity to send a huge message that common sense governance can still win in Massachusetts. Will you help me by making a much-needed donation:
Funding is allocated through two formulas. The first half of the funds, amounting to $50 million, is distributed using the Ch 90 formula, which considers road mileage, population, & employment. The remaining $50 million is allocated based on each community’s share of road mileage
Happy New Year! Wishing everyone a year filled with joy, prosperity, and unforgettable moments! I am honored to serve our incredible district in the upcoming year. Here's to a year of progress, unity, and making our district even stronger together. Cheers to 2024!
My right to shelter amendment will help to stop the flow into the state. We as a state have to do something to make sure we do not tank our budget.

Today, we salute our brave law enforcement officers on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! Thank you for your unwavering commitment, courage, and sacrifice in keeping our communities safe. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. We appreciate you!
Happy to see schools in the Worcester Hampshire District receive funding from the FY24 Early College Support Grant. The purpose of this targeted grant is to provide support resources to Designated Early College programs.
Mount Wachusett Community College, Worcester State University, and Quinsigamond Community College are set to receive funding that will greatly help to address these college’s deferred maintenance projects. I applaud the efforts of all involved to secure this important funding.
Happy Hanukkah! Hanukkah begins this evening at sundown. Wishing everyone who celebrates a beautiful Festival of Lights filled with love, joy, and cherished moments with family and friends. May the glow of the menorah bring warmth to your heart and blessings to your home
There has been a rise in antisemitism across the country and the world and this statement fuels that sentiment. When our educational leaders believe in hatred, and spew it to their members, there is a dangerous risk that it filters to our children.
At a time where state revenues are decreasing, we cannot crush our budget and leave you, the taxpayer, to pick up the slack. "We should limit the right to shelter law to people who have been here in Massachusetts for 1 year or more." 2/3
These brave men put everyone’s safety before themselves. Please take some time today to remember these brave men, their families and the members of the entire Worcester Fire Department. (2/2)
