Very thankful for these scores. Thank you so much. I'll talk about this more in my recap, but the day before release we received a handful of very lukewarm publication reviews and not much positive. Honestly, that was hard to swallow. Really glad there was more to the story.

Been playing around with an idea where you can tape up enemies to take them out of combat permanently. Kinda' like the burning system in Resi 1. They also babble on the floor when you come back through the room. (Wishlists!)

Bit of gamedev magic. The page flipping in Exiled is actually just a bunch of models that I turn on and off quickly to LOOK like a page flipping. It's possible to get a similar effect with plugins but this was the easier option.

So I added this thing where occasionally enemies will get stunned when you hit them so you can just run past and save some ammo. Or you can knock 'em over and tape 'em. It won't stop them from talking to you, but at least they won't grab you anymore. #screenshotsaturday

MFN is made in Unity. ~70% of our downloads have come from the free demo, which we make nothing on. The demo will stay live for those that can't afford the full game, but considering we have yet to recoup our dev budget this is very unfortunate news.

The paper in the Rolodexer roll now gets smaller as you get closer to the end of the magazine. Additionally, any ammo in your inventory will reflect how much is left based on the size of the roll and the letter on top. The closer to Z, the less ammo you have! #screenshotsaturday

So the page flipping animation I did for Charlotte's Exile isn't actually possible in Unity. Paper animations usually use lattice deformation, which is something Unity doesn't support. The solution? Export the animation as a jillion models and enable them one by one. @DreadXP_

Games really are smoke and mirrors. Exiled looks like it's in a library but actually is only some bookshelves and a dark background. If you tilt the camera at all, the illusion is immediately broken. The monster is also just on the other side of the table 100% of the time.
