@michaelhills8 Seamus Grace did get a 1916 Medal, War of Independence medal with Cormac bar, 1916 Armband and Emergency medal. He died in 1959 so no anniversary medals.

1916 Rising, War of Independence and Emergency medal ribbon bars all awarded to a member of the Dublin Brigade, Irish Volunteers who fought at the Battle of Mount Street Bridge during the 1916 Easter Rising and was later wounded during the War of Independence.

1954 dated C Company Third Battalion Dublin Brigade souvenir program for their annual reunion and unveiling of a memorial portrait of Lt. Michael Malone who was killed in action at 25 Northumberland Road during the 1916 Easter Rising.

For several hours on the 26th April 1916 Michael Malone and James Grace supported by fire from other outposts withheld 2 battalions of British Army soldiers (1,700 troops) from their fortified position at 25 Northumberland Road. This certificate was later awarded to James Grace.

A letter written to the Irish Times dated 30th April 1916 shows the depth of ill feeling from one writer towards the Republican cause in the immediate aftermath of the 1916 Rising. On the 1911 census Thomas Polson was living in Drumcondra, Dublin.

1915 dated discharge certificate for Bombardier Samuel Radford from Dublin. He had enlisted aged 18 in 1909 and lost his right eye in France “through the bursting of a cylinder containing high explosives”. Despite this he is still noted as “quite fit for service in civil life”.
