Worked on another new enemy type this week. This time we have this miner Bizbot swinging his pickaxe back and forth. They're also a thematic fit for some of the worlds I have in mind for the game.

@DantasAnkelles I do plan on making enemies that are more themed to certain worlds; both Bizbots and creatures that aren't Bizbots. A while ago I did show the Sticky Sharks, which are a non-Bizbot enemy type.

@DantasAnkelles I am considering mixing the "going to the background" concept with this gimmick, as that arguably could have interesting effects on the perspective gameplay, but it could possibly a lot of work that might not be worth it, so I'm not sure. We'll see.

This week's mechanic for Dribble 2 is a bit more dangerous and tricky than the others. These chemical spills ripple out shockwaves of spikes when bounced on, so you gotta be careful!

This week, gonna share part of one of the songs done by our composers! The main theme for Loony Land, done by @monokitsune_x3. He did a fantastic job capturing the wacky and fun vibe of the place. Gave some sfx-less gameplay as a backdrop while you listen.

This week been working on these red carpet platforms that Dribble can roll out. There's still work to be done on them, but the basic functionality is there. These were tricky for someone like me to program, so I'm glad to have got this much of it done.

For those of you who remember the Paintforest from Dribble 1, I'm revisiting the color-changing mechanics from there. Except this time, it'll determine what platforms Dribble can collide with. I think that'll be more interesting than just colored blocks to destroy.

In the first Dribble we avoided having any endless pits or situations where Dribble could get squished. But I've realized that would prove very limiting to Dribble 2's level design, so I added both of those in. Honestly fixes some other issues I've been having as well.

@DantasAnkelles Actually, to be specific, it's meant to be dairy-themed: milk, cheese, ice-cream, yogurt, etc. I'm using this old artwork I made a long time ago as a basis, but I hope to add more dairy-themed elements as I bring it to life in-game. I've improved since then, after all.

@DantasAnkelles I understand, but that would break the dairy theme of that world. I'm not unaware of what dirty minds will think, but all the context in game will point to it being milk once I get environment art done. People thinking otherwise will be a reflection on them, not the game.

Big update this week! We've gotten @Case_Portman to work on sound design, and he's already doing an incredible job with the sound effects. Here's just a taste of the sounds he's been cooking up (with some placeholder music from Dribble 1 to fill the background)

Nothing to show this week, but doesn't mean I haven't been working! Got a list of sound effects that we need set up, and also found a sound designer! Will go into more detail on that as we get sound effects implemented into the game.
