Five years ago today myself and a group of EPCOT fanatics came out to the park to say our goodbyes to Innoventions, which ceased operation that day.
It's one of the fondest memories of my life, and today I wrote a retrospective on it for my blog (link below)

I dearly hope Disney is paying attention to how massive of a response this has been getting. Figment has an insane following that only keeps getting bigger as time goes on. The time to fix his ride is now.

To send off Test Track 2.0, I am going to marathon the attraction all day long. Park open to park close. Final day crowds are of course going to complicate this, but I’m betting on single rider saving me.

Ohhh my goodness y’all I understand the hype! World is still more thematically appropriate for EPCOT but this is the better show. It should absolutely be permanent in DCA. I loved it.
Confession: I have never done Soarin’ Over California.
When I visited EPCOT when I was little I never set foot inside The Land. My mom never knew Soarin’ existed and assumed Food Rocks had never closed. When I became an AP holder it had closed just weeks earlier.

Two things about this show can be true.
One, in a vacuum it's fine. A lot of the existing charm is undoubtedly missing, but this show does find its own heart
Two, it is incredibly unfortunate that the only way the Country Bears are allowed to exist in WDW today is in this form.
