@tachilob Sounds like you don't enjoy the game because your painting of my experience is very different to my reality. My take has nothing to do with my career. I played league for 13 years before making a penny and enjoyed every second.

@lolshapeshift @Korcks1 I have no issues with this criticism. I'm just confused by boycott levels of uproar over hextech chest being removed. When much more of the entire league experience is offered for free. The gap in perceived value of cosmetics to everything else is just alien to me.

@Korcks1 I suppose I'm confused where you're squeezed of money when quite literally everything other than cosmetics is offered for free. If they started gatekeeping gameplay I'd be concerned.

@ziraxxs As I said, you don't enjoy the game anymore and there's nothing wrong with that. My issue is with people that enjoy the game but also complain that a lack of free skins destroys their experience.

@ziraxxs There are plenty of elements for riot to be criticised. If there is no part of the experience that brings you joy worth being grateful for then you simply don't like the game and that's okay. If you enjoy the game but draw the line at free skins, then I'm left confused.

@SaamuPls The noxus cinematic, the in client story telling events like spirit blossom, star guardian, swarm, arena. I could go on. Perhaps you then think all this was also not good enough. At that point I'd question it you like the game at all outside cosmetics.

@SaamuPls I suppose my struggle to understand is that the care shown for the game is given in multiple explicit mediums of art, music, story telling, gameplay and so on. It's strange for me to draw the line at paid optional cosmetics.

@DespairGamma This argument is formed in the exclusive frame of the experience I receive irrespective of the creator. I have plenty of things to criticise them for. If it were a multi billion dollar company or one man at his desk. I'd hold the same stance.

@_TyN95 I think you have a grave misunderstanding on the effort required to create seemingly "small" parts of the game like arena/ swarm. And have a strangely warped perception on the value of cosmetics as the only means to show "care." But hey it's subjective I guess, you do you.

@_TyN95 So you're saying fuck riot for firing artists, the people that make cosmetics that cost you money. Except you should also get them for free. And also fuck the creative design team and developers because the gameplay changes are ass. Arcane, swarm, arena also don't count?

@_TyN95 Who said skins are the biggest way to show they care? You say you care about the artists. What about the creative design team and developers for swarm, arena, the season 15 changes? Cosmetics are quite literally the only optional part of the gameplay loop.

@RandomQiqiMain You can complain... about those things? The client is functional in about 90% of cases and I enjoy playing the game. If you don't enjoy playing the game, which is completely reasonable, I'd imagine free skins would be the last of your worries.

@_TyN95 So receiving free skins is the only form people feel "heard and cared for?" Not arcane, not swarm, not the insane quality cinematics, not arena not the matchmaking shifts, not swiftplay etc. The line of effort and care is only drawn at receiving even more free cosmetics?
