@ThaMob Why can’t your father give you what you need? If the mother is so awful, why doesn’t the father rescue you? Of course, I’m being facetious. He doesn’t have to. She is obligated.

@youthoughtitwaz This is not about a mother’s morals. As I’ve stated several times, whether she loves or hates the children or the father, she is forced to care for them in ways the father is not. Keep up.

@HildyMoney ...they can leave and still be forgiven. Mothers, however, would never be forgiven for abandoning their children. This double standard reflects structural gendered expectations, not the actions of mothers.
