I don’t engage with those damning bell hooks and Audre Lorde to hell. If that’s your work, so be it, but you will never compel me to engage, cite, or work to refine it. I read it only to observe whether it evolves, and after years of witnessing, I’ve found it does not.

@youthoughtitwaz This is not about a mother’s morals. As I’ve stated several times, whether she loves or hates the children or the father, she is forced to care for them in ways the father is not. Keep up.

@HildyMoney ...they can leave and still be forgiven. Mothers, however, would never be forgiven for abandoning their children. This double standard reflects structural gendered expectations, not the actions of mothers.
