@feyiszn A wide mismatch in intellect is perhaps the least talked about origin of relationship friction or fatigue. No amount of emotional intelligence can make up for a 2-3 standard deviation gap in IQs. There'll always be a "feeling" of something "missing".

@fkeyamo Mathematics is the reason that HALF of lawyers chose their profession. There's a difference between reducing a figure BY 700,000 versus reducing the figure TO 700,000. Reduce 2 million by 700k = 1.3m left. Reduce 2 million to 700k = 1.3m lost. Guess which one is happening now?

@asemota Prince Philip Mountbatten was even a royal blood himself, of Greek and Danish origins. He renounced all of his royal titles to marry Elizabeth and swear allegiance to the House of Windsor. But the real point here is: your money is "our" money, but her money is "her" money. 😂

@aproko_doctor Someone who is inherently rational in their reasoning, who understands that it's OK to change your mind on something, and that compromise is neither a bad thing nor a sign of weakness. If you find yourself looking for their 'respected figure' to run/talk to, YOU'VE ALREADY LOST.

A country of 200 million people, when was the last time you heard scientific news coming out of Nigeria? Politics takes up 99% of our national discourse and we don't see the danger in that.

@ChallengerNG @FitnessCentNG *Customer is Always Right* can be taken too far. In truth, there are certain behaviours that people put up that are enough to infuriate a business owner. If you have NEVER encountered such customers, you can carry on believing *Customers are Always Right*. 😁 Ask Lasisi... 👇

"Oso Abiola" happened in 1993 and there are grown up people pretending they don't remember it. You don't remember millions of your Igbo fellow countrymen, living in one part of the country, suddenly packing up their families and fleeing to their villages in a big hurry? Wehdon.

@Tutsy22 Imagine asking this guy to come sit at a table to discuss "One Nigeria" and "building bridges". The bitter seeds of discord we sowed 50 years ago are still ripening, yet we're busy planting hectares more today for a bountiful future harvest. Grievances continue.

Umahi and Uzodinma are the leading names right now. One big man in Yobe politics mentioned their names to me as the only two Igbo men that "we can trust" to be president. When you hear TRUST, you know what that means.

Ask these foolish people the Igbos they will prefer to rule this country one day and you'll hear names like Chimaroke, Uzodimma, Rochas. Lol Those they are cock sure will continue with the culture of ruining this country. Madness.

@aproko_doctor This has been peddled a lot, but it's untrue; an extreme measure at best. Many of the worst atrocities have been committed by people who had godfathers, elders, sages and mentors in their lives. Yet, deaf ears! What's more important to look for is someone who actually listens...

@johnpilger Laos was worse. Between 1964-1973, Laos became, per capita, the most heavily bombed country on earth with over two million tonnes of bombs dropped. The US dropped the equivalent of a planeload of bombs every eight minutes, 24 hours a day, for nine years, according to Al Jazeera.

@MBuhari People will *always* care who is in government. In fact, the more prosperous they get, the more actively concerned they'd be. Mass poverty is the biggest reason politicians get away with incompetence and failure. The people are too hungry to fight for their rights and privileges.

@MizCazorla1 The difference between Oba of Benin and the Oba of Lagos is simple: while one is Royalty, the other is Loyalty. You cannot buy the first one, but they hawk the second one near the end of Bourdillon Road, under Falomo bridge (beside the Lagoon).

@DrCOmole The Supreme Court has now set two potentially dangerous precedents, in my view: 1) A Party may technically present two candidates in an election, and still stand qualified. 2) A candidate may furnish the courts with alternative results and beat INEC's word on authenticity!

@Letter_to_Jack If Obi takes money from Nnewi, Nnewi will ask for one or two rooms in his house. If he takes a little, they'll ask for his boys quarters. If he takes a lot, they'll ask for his bedroom. And if he takes too much, they'll take the house and then give him a room to manage himself.

@MobilePunch No. Remove POS charges instead. We already adjusted to ATM charges, but that new N50 you added to POS transactions is killing the hard-won cashless policy adoption. People are turning to cash more and more, reversing years of policy adoption!

@asemota Sooo this is why men should always sell a fantasy to women, and conjure up a new promise held in the "future tense". A fancy wristwatch for Valentine's is worth three delivered at Christmas (while cooking up a new one for November).

@cchukudebelu The replies here are an open demonstration of our moral bankruptcy in Nigeria. A simple question; some of us genuinely want to know the answer, but... "it's not your business". Kudos to those who actually attempted the question.

@DrJoeAbah The coronavirus pandemic will end a few months to election. The US will move into a phase of rapid *bounce back* of all sectors, as they pull out from under the strain of #COVID19 . Trump will ride this wave of upswing sentiment & paint himself as Face of The Recovery. TRUMP WINS.
