I had a great day at @uOttawa thinking about shared rule in federal systems. Thanks to the organizers for the invitation to discuss local government claims to shared rule, allowing me to revisit ideas from Ostrom, Cooley, and others. I was very happy to be back in Ottawa! 🇨🇦

I’m glad we could watch the first @LobsterHockey game at the new Aikens Ford Arena tonight. It’s good to see hockey in Athens; but lots of room for improvement in game operations at the new arena. For example, check out the clock and score. On the plus, the food was good!

This is a good thread. As an editor, it’s frustrating to see a manuscript that doesn’t make full use of the data to chase the question. @ashleytrubin has some good suggestions here.
Something I see a lot in qualitative research is a lack of analysis. Basically a rundown of what's in the data, but without doing anything with it (analysis). It's the qualitative equivalent of descriptive stats. Short thread.
