๐จMy Reading List that puts Game of Thrones to FUCKING SHAME!!!!!!!๐จ Barry Sadler's Casca Series (Roman Soldier accidentally taste the blood of Christ at Golgotha crucification and walks the Earth until Jesus meets with again at a time undetermined... that series truly made cry) Kirov Saga by John Schettler ( 21st century Kirov class Russian battlecruiser accidentally goes back to WW2 and changes events with prejudice against the West but also destroys humanity and they try to correct or prevent humanity from extinction) Lost Regiment Series by William Forstchen (Union Regiment during the Civil War transported to alien world where other humans from the past are cattle. Similar to the Witcher) Red Gambit by Colin Gee (Soviet Union Sabotage Manhattan Projects and declares war on Western Allies in August 6th 1945) Any Harry Turtledove book World War Series ( Aliens invade during WW2) Timeline -191 (Confederate victory and what that world would realistically look like from 1862 to 1945) The war that came early (WW2 begins in 1938) Into Darkness Series ( Fantasy World with Dragons where kingdoms are at war with the same politics and historical events from WW2) Guns of the South ( South African white nationalists time travels to help the Confederacy) After the Downfall (German officer at the Battle of Berlin transported to fantasy world to help people that look like Jewish people) In short you don't need GRRM oh and woke shit to torment yourself! #harryturtledove #cascaseries #barrysadler #colingee #redgambitseries #kirovseries #johnschettler #lostregiment #lostregimentseries #williamforstchen
I fortunately did not watch the series on HBO. I'm a purist and wanted to read the series before committing to watching just like Harry Potter. Too many people where bombarding FB feeds about GoT. it got impossible to ignore. so that's how i jumped into the books. i am aware of the feedback from the viewers which reaffirmed my belief that is is better to wait until the book series are completed. I do recall GRRM saying we should stop pesturing and read more from other series. I took his advice. I highly recommend anyone reading this read Barry Sadler's Casca series. Then there is the Kirov Saga by John Schettler. William Forstchen "Lost Regiment Series" Colin Gee's Red Gambit Series (Soviet Union attacks the Allies in 1945 after sabotaging the Manhattan Project) and and any books by Harry Turtledove. I highly recommend Harry's works. each year he was always consistent in publishing his series annually and on time. I know he gets criticize with how he writes sex scenes but consistency is key and he prepared me for the death of characters along the way. so when I did read the Red Wedding, it wasn't a massive shock to the gut as I was use to these kinds of deaths who you would think would live to the end of the series.

As promised! not surprised by the results! I prefer books/kindle. given that there is so many books that i would love to read and have been told to go audiobooks as a faster means know the story. A part of me enjoys the thrill of just reading a book/kindle going left/right on the pages. It keeps the mind stimulated and alert. Also I have a mental image and the sound of the voices of each of the characters. Oh and i have my own personal music soundtrack that i will listen to when reading! Star Trek and Star Wars novels are very easy as their is established sound effects. when you branch out things get very interesting! I feel that it's missing if you use audiobooks and that is why i shy away from using audiobooks and prefer to read the standard ways! Thank you for anyone who took part on the poll! and like i said do see the pinned tweet regarding my Books. Right now I am reading Colin Gee's book of the 3rd World War between the Allied Forces and the Soviet Union. This could have happened had they not know just how advance the Manhattan project really was or Stalin had cold feet which is unlikely but never the less.

@gameguy9572 I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy on the extreme right side. I mean I get it, it's better to have God in your life but this isn't the way.
