A very stylish #Roman enclosed boot with a highly decorative and intricate cut-out design, that would have shown off the wearer’s socks. Found in London, dating c. 75-125 AD. On display at Museum of London #RomanArchaeology

Good morning, everyone! Happy #InternationalCatDay ! A terrific #Egyptian gold finger-ring with a carnelian bezel in form of a #cat . The ring is presumably related to the goddess Bastet, who was worshipped in the form of a lion and a cat. Photo: The British Museum, 1947,1011.2
