For those individuals with COPD who are non-smoker having repeated exac.COPD with raised BEC then triple therapy is indicated. If continued exac.COPD requiring OCS, Dupilumab can be added. #BTSWinter2024

@KingsResp @instagram Of the options, like those who have already replied, I would also go with B - LIP. As @LewisStanding1 has noted history suggestive of possible Sjögren Syndrome. A niggle in the back of my mind also tells me it is important to do an HIV test in LIP.

@AldrinAU I do not disagree. Had a similar discussion recently about the nepotism of medicine which has allowed certain practices to take place.

@Garry42779 @drlaurajane @Cipla_Global Interesting. BiBecFo is not on our local formulary. Many and various inhalers which really shouldn’t be. But it looks like it should be as opposed to LuForBec!

@Garry42779 @drlaurajane Really helpful to know. I have not switched anyone from Fostair to Luforbec & have only commenced a handful on it. So far no overt reports of cough. But I will ask the question. Useful knowledge. Thanks for sharing.
