@fc_potgieter @elonmusk @jk_rowling Do the “young” in the current world have much stability or an identity to start off with? If a parent can’t tell them what race or gender they are, before the age of 7, is it any wonder they go looking for a group to identify with.

@tidzo When the next pandemic occurs, we need a group of united, ethical doctors, real scientists and lawyers to form an international, objective, advisory group. This group should deliver a rational way of managing whatever is next, based on not repeating mistakes that caused harm.

@tidzo I think that those in power can’t acknowledge their mistakes because they lack the capacity to see what they’ve done. When you ask a bureaucrat a question, involving a reply based on reason, they can’t reply. Their eyes literally glaze over. They were selected for compliance.

What’s NOT to like about Robert Kennedy Jr. From an outsiders perspective he has ALL the characteristics I’d hope the US president had - integrity, courage, conviction, & strength of character. Plus intelligent, very knowledgeable, consistently honest, trustworthy & levelheaded.
With reports of Joe Biden being expected to drop out of the race in the coming days, it's time to say it. Democrats, if you really want to beat Donald Trump, you have to nominate Robert Kennedy Jr. Before you scroll away, hear me out. You may not like RFK Jr. very much, and though I would assert that is likely due to misinformation, that is not the point. The point is that in a head-to-head match, the polling shows that Kennedy would be the strongest candidate by far to beat Donald Trump. If you actually want to beat Trump, he is your best bet. There are only two candidates who have consistently beaten Trump in several head-to-head polls: Michelle Obama and Robert Kennedy Jr. However, Michelle Obama's office has stated, "As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president." That said, that only leaves one option to ensure beating Trump: Kennedy. A recent poll shows that in a head-to-head match, Kennedy beats Trump by a whopping 14%. Meanwhile, all other Democrats are typically about tied or lose to Trump. No poll since July 12 has shown a Democrat beating Trump. Keep in mind as well that in the past two elections, Trump's results were better than how he actually polled, even when he lost in 2020, so Democrats should also be prepared for that. Democrats have to decide if they want to win or not, because even if they aren't the biggest fans of Kennedy, he is the only one who polls have consistently shown beating Donald Trump and is willing to run. If you choose Kennedy, polling shows you are very likely to secure a very comfortable win by a large margin and block Donald Trump from winning the 2024 presidential election. If you don't, you will have to fight a very, very tight race, with polls showing none of the other options beating Donald Trump, likely giving him another four years in the White House.

Adolescence is the transition from a childhood fantasy world to the reality of the adult world. It’s when you explore your identity and decide who you want to be. Doctors should NOT permanently interfere with this process, or medicalise & profiteer from it.
Well, @jk_rowling is absolutely right! Almost every child goes through some kind of identity crisis during puberty. It is deeply wrong to make them permanently infertile with “puberty blockers”. If they still wish to transition as adults, provided they are fully informed of the risks, they can then make decisions as consenting adults.
