After taking over as head surgery, GMC sgr appreciated the selfless service of my staff who were on 24 hrs shift on Idd day. 361 pts including 53 inpatients were managed. 60% were Road traffic Accidents. Plz drive carefully

Contrary to the rumour mongering, the resident staff PG/Registrars do not get pre and post night off. The duty starts from 9 am till next day which can run upto 4pm depending upon the number of patients. All seniors have gone through this training to reach a level of experience.
