Haranadh, Chairman of PPA, shared key developments, highlighting the port’s impressive progress. A launch ride across the harbour offered a stunning perspective on the scale, efficiency, and precision of cargo handling and vessel movements. Experiencing the port’s dynamic operations firsthand was truly inspiring!

Pleased to welcome the 17-member delegation from the National Defence College, New Delhi, to Raj Bhavan today. We had an insightful discussion on Odisha’s rapid growth, its emergence as a key development hub, and the importance of skill development. I emphasized the need for skill centers in every institution to equip our youth for the future. The delegation, comprising senior officers from the Indian Armed Forces, Police, IFoS, and international representatives, is on a national tour to gain deeper insights into India’s governance, policies, and cultural landscape.
